In the 1950s and 60s Dick's Drive-In had billboards around Seattle letting people know about this relatively new restaurant in the area. All these years later we are bringing those billboard images out of the archives and celebrating our 70th anniversary with a set of limited edition tees.
One of the three original founders, Dr. B.O.A. Thomas, was a professor of dentistry at UW. Between his work in dentistry and this billboard from 1963, many people thought our Lake City restaurant was actually a dentist's office!
