It's time for part seven of getting to know our amazing Dick's Drive-In team and this time we are headed over to the restaurants to get to know one of our amazing Regional Managers, Jodie Greenleaf!
If you haven't noticed we are really big fans of donating to our charity partners.Occasionally we will do what is called a "Takeover" where all of those donations from a certain time frame will go to a specific charity.
Looking for the perfect Mother's Day gift? Look no further! Whether she's a long-time Drive-In fan, a die-hard Seattle sports fan, a pet mom, or a lover of all things PNW, we've got you covered with our curated selection of gifts that will make her feel truly appreciated.
Dick's Drive-In is truly a family affair, and that extends to our fur babies as well. I briefly introduced you to my two doggos in my very first blog but today they get their very own feature. Patrick Warburton (Burton) and Belladonna (Bella) put on their best model faces and headed out to show off our new pet bandanas and collapsible water bowl.
Last Thursday, April 11th, was National Pet Day and we absolutely love pets here at the Drive-In, especially me. It was no big surprise to us that our customers were also head over tails in love with their pets and y’all really showed it. Like, really really.Â
It's time for part six of getting to know our amazing Dick's Drive-In team and this time we are headed back to our Marketing team and our Project Assistant extraordinaire, Ali Massey! She is one of the newest members of the team but she has quickly taken on whatever crazy tasks we manage to come up with. From helping to schedule the food truck, to doing burger deliveries, helping at the apparel pop-ups and even modeling for the online store, she is doing it all!Â
April is finally here and that of course means that April Fool’s has also arrived. This year we announced the first ever Dick’s Drive-In almost semi-pro pickleball team. We might not have an actual team but we did launch our new Pickleball Sets. It’s kind of a big dill if I do say so myself. With April Fool’s over for 2024,I thought it would be fun to take a look at some of my personal favorites from years past.Â
Happy Opening Day for the 2024 Baseball Season! As I’ve said before we are big ole’ fans of baseball here at the Drive-In so it is no wonder that we have some pretty cool merch to show off our baseball love.
One of my favorite things about Dick’s Drive-In is how often we collaborate and work with other local artists and businesses. So when our Marketing team got the idea to do retro, Sailor Jerry-inspired tattoo merchandise, the best place to look was Sacred Soul Tattoo. Michelle Haley, owner and head artist at Sacred Soul Tattoo and Seattle area native has been tattooing for almost 20 years, so she knows a thing or two about the PNW and tattoos.Â
It's time for part five of getting to know our amazing Dick's Drive-In team and this time we are headed to a truly behind-the-scenes department, Construction and Real Estate! When you think of Dick’s Drive-In employees you probably jump straight to the crew behind the windows flipping burgers, frying fries and hand-whipping milkshakes. You might also think of our Operations or Online Store/Marketing team. But I can almost bet the last thing you would have come up with was the person making sure all the construction happens for our new and current restaurants. It’s time to change that, so this month we meet the Director of Construction and Real Estate, Martti Travis!
On January 28th, we celebrated the 70th Anniversary of Dick's Drive-In! Back in 1954, our first location in Wallingford opened and we have been serving up delicious memories ever since. To help us celebrate we asked some of our most tenured employees to share a few of their favorite Drive-In memories and we are back with part two of their stories.
